Larry,

So this would include investment bankers, stockbrokers, floor traders and possibly others? If so, this is quite a diverse group of people to include under one umbrella term of "market maker".

It seems to me that each of the several components I mentioned serves an entirely different function in the process of matching buyers with sellers.

Geezee...I'm still confused. Maybe I have a hard head. <g>
