I'd like to see some company throw a little excitement into the sector. Does anyone every wonder what would happen if a supplier of 70+% of the drives were to be purchased by one of the big players? Then, heaven forbid they might threaten supply of said essential component? Sort of an anti-trust kind of thing, but it seems the attitude is that anyone can do anything, so how can any company be too important to be bought?

Yes, a little silly speculation. I'd like to see Maxtor buy Hutchinson and then close down supply of TSA to the market. Just for fun to see what would happen.

Regards,

Mark
