All good points. Let me revise my statement a little: Now is a good, but riskier, time to buy shares, but it is IMO a great time to pick up some calls while volatility/premiums are low. You can def make good money waiting to buy the stock on breakout, but in my experience the best time to buy options is while it is consolidating. And if it doesn't move by mid Jan, I'll just by the Feb calls, then March, until it explodes.

BTW, by b/o I mean on strong volume, nothing "tepid". Should've mentioned that. A close on strong volume over 98 should do the trick and one over 100 3/4 and it's all over.

As for earnings, I think it's a little too early to tell.

Thanks for your comments.
