Here's an example of what I mean by checking European prices for how ADR shares of a European based corporation should do over here [U.S.]:

The Milan and Paris exchanges close in less than one hour. STM was down well over 4% in Paris and about the same in Milan when our markets opened this morning. STM ADRs opened down. During the final hour of trading (in Europe), STM has been moving higher, approaching positive territory as I type. Likewise, STM's ADRs are gaining ground:
