<Good point. It could also mean that AMD is targeting DIY market and SDS segment, or helping out mobo manufacturers to clear out existing inventory to set stage for newer motherboards with KX133. I remember reading in an article (I posted that one on this board) that AMD provided guarantees to Taiwan motherboard manufacturers that it will buy any excess supply of motherboards.>

Bottom line: AMD has more supply than demand right now. Not a situation I was expecting to happen in this so-called tight-supply quarter.
