Yeah I know its 2%, does that seem reasonable? Because that culminates in a $50. increase in yearly taxes from 1980 - 1990 if the person was paying $300. when he bought the house in 1979. The house has probably appreciated in value from 50K to 650K. Paying $300 then and $350 10 years later ... sheesh.

I don't know about that state vs. locality stuff, I'll look.
