I think it is more likely that Seagate would do a $200 million convertible against a third of their stock. That is about what they wanted to do with the PEPS trust that they withdrew in connection with the secondary. But I have no actual knowledge of this.

It would be odd for Sandisk to do a convertible so close to the secondary. But they may have found that they actually could use more money for their planned JV with Toshiba. We'll have to see. I would check FreeEdgar, but my computer is painfully slow for some reason today, and that site is always one of the slower ones for me. Wish my area would get cable service soon.

On a different, OT note:
RE: the Gettysburg Address, the Decl. of Indep. and word processing: one of my good friends was a newspaperman years ago, he straddled the typewriter/electronic age. The people he knew who wrote on deadline with typewriters were much better writers than those who learned with word processors. They were faster, cleaner writers who learned how to not make mistakes since it took so long fix them. I doubt if either the documents you mentioned would have been a whit better if the writers had had access to wps, and plausibly would have been much worse, IMHO, especially Lincoln's masterpiece of brevity (the Declaration went through myriad drafts as it was).
