FWIW: i sent a question to IR on 12/10 asking if the company is authorized to issue sufficient stock to cover a 2/1 stock split but no answer yet.
any price over 200 may be worth a 3 or 4/1 split altho the last split at ~175 was a 2/1 indicating, 9 months ago, the target price per share was about 85. i don't know the thinking that determines the size of the split but one traditional reason is to make it affordable, obviously that term is very flexible in its application here. anyway affordable to me means less than 50/share....sooo 4/1 seems right to me.
And just to accent your last comment: when you have a winner and one is buy and hold there ain't a whole lot of talking that needs to be done.
