Long,
Hi.
Here's some news from Jim Jubak...
Global Crossing has snapped up Leo Hindery, who headed AT&T (T) Broadband and Internet Services until he disagreed with CEO Michael Armstrong. (Hindery had been CEO of cable TV giant TCI until it was acquired by AT&T.) Hindery now will be CEO of Global Center, the recently established Internet services subsidiary of Global Crossing. I think this is a big plus for Global Crossing. Hindery is a top-notch manager who knows how to build a business -- and he's got something to prove after his departure from AT&T. Global Crossing acquired a huge Internet service and hosting business when it bought Frontier, but growing this division hasn't seemed a top priority at Global Crossing -- until now.

Best,
Steve
