I put inheritance taxes in the same camp with sales taxes on used cars. The goods have already been taxed once, why tax them a second time. Sheer greed on the part of government.

I know of numerous dairy farms here in Wisconsin that were passed on through inheritance and the heirs had to come up with huge sums to pay the taxes--debt that cost them dearly during the high interest rates of the Carter years.

Then low and behold we find ourselves needing government to save the family farm.
