Concurrent Computer Corporation and Optibase Form Alliance

for Deployment of Video-On-Demand Services

Atlanta, Georgia, December 6, 1999 --
Concurrent Computer Corporation(NASDAQ:CCUR) announced today that its Xstreme Division and Optibase(NASDAQ: OBAS) have joined forces to accelerate the deployment of interactive Video-On-Demand (VOD) services. This new alliance unites Concurrent?s
industry-leading MediaHawk?video server with Optibase?s video streaming
solutions, creating a total VOD solution.

Optibase, an acknowledged leader in the broadband video networking
market, has considerable experience and competence in the field of rich media streaming.
The combination of Concurrent's video server and Optibase's video streaming solutions provides a platform for interactive VOD applications in a variety of markets, including distance learning, corporate communications, business TV, surveillance, and monitoring.
Optibase?s award winning encoding and playback solutions as well as its proprietary software tools enabled seamless integration with Concurrent?s MediaHawk video server.

Concurrent and Optibase recently collaborated on the digital debrief systems selected by the Boeing Company's Aerospace Support Business for use in the United Kingdom's WAH-64 Apache Longbow Helicopter Training Program. In these debrief systems, Concurrent's MediaHawk VOD technology is combined with Optibase?s MPEG
ComMotion?video streaming solution and Optibase?s MPEG MovieMaker? encoding system. The debrief systems can simultaneously record the actions of one crew

in a simulator while playing back the events of a previous session for a second crew and
can accommodate multiple channels, or streams, each of which is completely independent and
interactive. Users are able to select, play, stop, and pause on each digital video stream
independently with prompt and predictable response times. "This is a significant
affiliation for us," said Adrian Exton, Managing Director of Optibase Europe.
"Both Concurrent and Optibase have spawned technology which is being successfully
used in a broad spectrum of applications. Together, we can provide proven integrated
systems that enable customers to invest with confidence in the latest, cutting-edge VOD
technology."

"Cooperation on the Boeing project has demonstrated that
Concurrent's MediaHawk can be integrated with Optibase's technology to operate in a
demanding environment," said Steve Nussrallah, President Concurrent.
