Ruffian: This article is a mismash as those in the WSJ usually are.

There are no repeat no B-CDMA systems in operation anywhere in the world - none.

The Q worked out a cross licensing agreement many moons ago re CDMA and paid IDC some greenmail.

IDC's system relates only to fixed not mobile CDMA where the Q has the essential patents and IPR.

The court case in Texas relates to TDMA not CDMA.

What game Nokia is playing I have no idea.

IDC has been trying for years to get some money from the Europeans on TDMA and GSM without success so far.

Enough.

But there is a "story" and on the street it looks like that is enough.

Caveat emptor.
