Emile, re: OT - "Would you mind telling me which ILEC or CLEC had Pairgain equipment?" Sure - This is Pacific Bell country. The source was a PacBell installer. Caution - He was talking about line multiplexers and ISDN, not PairGain ADSL, although I hope this changes in the near future. The CLEC around here is Covad. The installer said they had a co- located rack inside my CO. As of October 15th Covad began offering ADSL to people and businesses located within two miles of this CO. Alas that does not include me! I do not know anything about what stuff is being used by Covad. Curiously PacBell itself is not yet offering ADSL to anyone from this same central office. Hope that helps you... Jeff
