Yes CPQ is a relatively ripe LBO target currently. I don't think KKR is going to show up on their door step in the near future.

Once they did buy the 5%, and announce intentions the stock would shoot up on speculation. The ultimate price would be more then $50.

What is Compaq's value if you sell the all the parts and pocket the cash? I don't know, but more then $50.

Would I vote for $50 tomorrow? Maybe. I would vote for $75 in the blink of an eye. Reason, it would take six or more months to collect my $50. In six months I think CPQ could be worth $50. In a year, maybe more then $50.
