To All: On Monday, April 20, T announces their quarterly earnings. The stock is already down about 20% from the start of the year. I'm long, but I'm afraid that as long as Allen and Walter are still running the show, the stock price is going to continue to go downhill. The problem is that T has no real leadership. The company needs someone like a Lee Iacocca to turn it around. What's needed is a leader with b--ls. The current leadership reminds me of the character on the old Andy Griffith show, Barney Fife. All noise and confusion and no substance. I hope that some of the very large institutional investors will bring pressure to bear on the company to change leadership, it's the only hope this company has of remaining a dominant force in the telecom arena.
