<<<< The shorts (after adjusting for multiple IDs I think there are only about two) on Yahoo just don't seem to get it.>>>>

Let's face it:

1. The quality of shorts overall just isn't what it used to be.

2. THQI in particular gets a particularly dumb class of short. This stock just gets no respect.

3. The expansion of the number of new companies in our economy means that there is really a shortage of shorts to go around.

4. Most universities have discontinued their short degree programs. It seems that most of today's youth want to grow up to be longs.

We will just have to make do with what we have. Be grateful that there are as many as two shorts on Yahoo. I understand that there is a rumor that one has requested a trade to any higher_than_high Internet stock and the other has announced his impending retirement when THQI hits $40. In the good old days, any self-respecting short would have been willing to hang in there for another 9+ years until the WWF license was up for renewal or is it 14+ years? At any rate let's count our blessings for we (or is it they?) might lose our (their) shorts if we don't watch out.
