Dell already lists 733 MHz machines at www.dell.com. I don't think another 100 or so MHz makes much difference to any but very specialized applications, so I don't think this is significant news. The desktop machines on the market now are more than fast enough for desktop tasks, and I doubt CPU clock speed is the bottleneck in servers. Besides, 100 MHz isn't that big a percentage of current clock speeds, so unless the increment is nearly free, I doubt people will be willing to pay for it -- witness the move toward the low end.
