I didn't notice MRGE on your list, Return. Here's a small blurb about it that was included in CNTR's 11/9/99 press release:

Another application developer with a strategic Linux and Velocis agenda is Merge Technologies Inc., (www.merge.com) which provides information management solutions for the medical industry. Merge uses Centura's Velocis in their MergeARK, a medical image and information archive solution.

``Merge will migrate MergeARK to Linux from a competing UNIX variant because of Linux's emergence as a standard for PC-based UNIX. Access to drivers for network and video cards, and other add-on technology, will be enhanced by moving to Linux,' said Nick Donofrio, program manager of Merge. ``We appreciate Velocis' support for Linux. The database's portability has meant that we can leverage our original code development, which cuts time-to-market,' adds Donofrio.

Merge Technologies, Inc.

Milwaukee, WI based Merge Technologies Inc. is the leading provider of medical diagnostic imaging connectivity hardware, software and consulting solutions for healthcare facilities world-wide. The company is a global leader in the setting of industry standards for the digital transmission of diagnostic images generated by medical imaging devices. Merge is also the world's leading supplier of DICOM v3.0 equipment interface technology and services, including the MergeCOM-3 software for OEM applications, MergeWorks Connectivity Products, MergeARK DICOM archives, Networked Image Management Products including CaseWorks, and MergeLINK Training Programs.
