A $500 million stock buyback would take 15% of the company's shares off the market @ today's price of 8 1/2.

Also they own 409 retail dealerships. Anyone know what a good price for a dealership is? I would imagine they own bigger dealers. My point is that, unlike a RHAT, there is some underlying value here, not just hope/hype.

But what attracted me to AN initially was that they could profit from cars thruout the automotive food chain--new, rental, and used. But two of these strategies are being abandoned. Apparently there are scarce profits in rental and used cars.
