Oh, really?

On the contrary, I thought gold having been manipulated into the doldrums for one helluva' long long time was a "crashing bore". But now that GATA is fighting back and gold is beginning to show signs of life and the "Cannibals" are desperately trying to suppress its rise, I think gold is becoming more and more interesting.

Your term, "scraping the barrel" more appropriately applies to the likes of Goldman Sachs who have been desperately ferreting out all available sources of gold to enable the shorts and hedgers to cover their positions.

Instead of applying "scraping the barrel" to GATA, you will do well to contemplate "it's the beginning of the end for the gold manipulators."

Some folks pride themselves a lot in having been right about gold in the past. But little do they realise that following a trend (and a manipulated one at that) is a no-brainer. That trend is about to reverse, IMHO.
