Dia Met's revenues are from its 29% interest in the Ekati Diamond Mine,
Canada's first diamond mine, which started operations this year.
It said that, from the beginning of February to the end of October, a total
of 1,757,000 carats of rough diamonds were sold for US$289 million, which is
an average of about US$165 a carat. Dia Met said its 29% share of diamond
sales for the first nine months was C$124 million.
Dia Met Minerals Ltd. (DMMA) is a mineral exploration and development
company.
