I'm new here, but what I don't hear anyone discussing is the rotten shape USWB is in currently - I'm saying this from first hand experience socializing with several partners at USWB. All the managment team at USWB that came from MMG are looking at their take over as a retirement plan. USWB thinks they bought excellent management. Besides, these folks are all strategy consultants - and cannot/will not relate to the technical side of the business. In fact the recent announcement about moving all NYC based offices into 1 building was something even the head of the new business wasn't aware of - and he's been appointed as one of the senior most officers of the company.

I had heard scary things about this company over the past few months - but these conversations with these partners have confirmed them.

I bought Call options on USWB coz. I think they'll have to go back up soon after yesterday's knee-jerk reaction. And then they will go down in the long term. Research has shown that in most cases, the market's 'initial' reaction to such deals is a strong indicator of things to come. In this case, the market reacted negatively to the announcement - the stocks may rise for a while, but in the longer term (don't ask me to define what I mean by longer term), we can anticipate a negative performance.
