I don't trust that PR.

Here's why: CBQ started up in the last quarter of 1998, according to its Yahoo profile. It has very low revenues -- only $198,000 for its last six months.

My database search for CBQ + (fingerprints or biometrics or authenticate) yielded only today's PR. In other words, they never announced any biometric solution before.

I conclude that CBQ may have had a pilot, at best, using fingerprint biometrics, but never invested in it. The signature biometric company came along with a lower price and took the contract. To sweeten the deal for the signature company, CBQ agreed to trash fingerprints. This is important to the signature company because right now the only real credibility is with fingerprint authentication.
