Hi Eric, you seem to be a long-term advocate of LSCC so I direct my questions & comments to you.

What sets LSCC apart from formidable competitors like ALTR & AMD in the CPLD market? How can they maintain margins in the months ahead?

It is difficult to get too excited about their sales or net income in the past five quarters(sales around $48-$56M and net income around $11-$13M). Even profit margin has not improved considerably over the past year. Yet, the stock price has jumped by ~70%.

Net profit of all the fabless CPLD/FPGA Semis has improved in the last couple of qtrs. due to strong $. Sales growth, though, has been inconsistent and inappreciable.

I read Rob's post and I tend to agree with him. LSCC hit $50-$51 resistance on Friday. It sold off pre-earnings but has moved 5-6 points after reporting 1c higher than expected earnings(< 2% surprise). Just opposite of what ALTR did.

Insiders have sold about 44K shrs. since Dec. with the latest 29K shrs. reported in Barrons on March 10th.
