I thought that a shred of rationality in the market would keep it low in fear of the unknown (y2k). I was wrong.
Now what kind of relief rally can you get from up here?
A week, maybe two weeks of big distribution. When eventually January ends down it will sink in (only for the few remaining bears and some very smart and nimble money managers) : The top was already made and we're over the cliff.

It will shortly end in tears.
