Value is based on earnings. What earnings can an acquirer expect from these new products? This is a two way street. Maybe one of the products looks great on paper and at the first test site but ends up flopping. I sure wouldn't pay up a lot for these new products. I would say to NN that they can make the gains by holding MY stock after the acquisition, to PROVE the greatness of the products. Can't imagine paying up in advance. Especially since MY company is supplying the management that NN has NEVER been able to provide.
