Doug, no Carrier is going to perform a FULL upgrade
of it's network based on any standards developed by anybody
unless it is proven that the new system/standards
will withstand Telco/Carrier Heavy Duty use.

So far I have not seen any major Carrier announcement
with any telco/oem. All I have sen are bits and pieces
at the edge. Nothing major at the core.
Carriers are sitting and waiting until what they really
need comes up.
They know what they need. The Leaders are in no position to
dictate to Carriers what they need,
