This would be like AMD deciding to release the 800 and 850 next week when the 750 is just now becoming available. And it doesn't look like AMD is going to do that. This is clearly showing how DESPARATE Intel is to fight a competitor 1/60 the size of itself. And at the same time, Intel may be hurting its customers: "A note issued today by Richard Gardner of Salomon Smith Barney reiterated the point. PC manufacturers face a slight risk for lower-than-expected revenues this quarter "due to Intel microprocessor supply constraints," it said." So Intel sees competition MORE important than satisfying its customers?
