I'm no longer monitoring this thread but I had to come back and share this little gem I saw this evening at salon.com: I am going to stockpile gold bricks. And then I'm going to sit in my apartment on top of the pile of bricks, with lots of bottled water and my rifle, shouting 'get off my land' at anyone who steps off the elevator. -- Janeane Garofalo on her Y2K preparations, in Glamour Janeane and O49er must have been separated at birth. :)
