Yeah, I think it's just too difficult and/or costly to generate data on short interest so frequently. I don't even know if data on a short sale has to leave the brokerage house (except for tax purposes) if the brokerage lends the short seller its own shares and doesn't have to get them from somewhere else. But I'm not the most wall street savvy guy so I might not have any idea what I'm talking about. -G
