hb, The Other Side of the Coin The opposite of tax-loss selling is tax-gain holding. I suspect that some folks with some really nice gains are nervously holding, "hoping" they can defer their taxes into next year. Since many of these of these issues also have limited float, the moves can be even more dramatic. Just an observation. Berney
