L3, On the internal chart the OPTI has reversed down and the NYSE BP is only .4 away from reversing down. This would be very negative for the market. Of course rallies may occur but the risk would be to the downside. Have to be very careful here. Our short term indicators have been negative for some time and until they start to shape up, long positions are going to be tough. Some stocks will beat the negative trend but they may be hard to find. Don't chase anything here or guess at a bottom. The market may surprise you. I'll know for sure tomorrow if the OPTI reverses. The internal chart is a tad more sensitive than the external chart which is the official chart. Just and FYI for this thread. Jan
