Brian, I see that you are a midnight poster too. I usually check out the threads and so on around 2am before I put my Gateway to bed. No reason for apologies I deserved a little comeupance because I have been burned by religion. Didn't figure out that out until about 1992 when I became more interested in finding out what God was trying to tell us by getting more involved in Bible studies and comparison of the different theologies of our mainline church denominations. I apologise to anyone that is in the ones that I was referring to. It is the institution and not the individual Christians from the different denominations because we have many well meaning faithful souls that attend these organuzations. But, at some point in time, I think the leading of God should convict them of doctrinal error and man's traditions that are sometimes placed ahead of good Bible doctrine. I think that a little bit of knowledge can cause error and mistakes that leads to painful discoveries. I believe that is the way things are. The call of God on a person's life will give him a passion for Christ and His Holy Word. That is the point that I began to see my strong desires for revelation and to seek the peace that passeth all understanding. If a Christian doesn't feel he has a passion for God's Word, then he needs to find it somehow. I'm looking forward to your thoughts and guidance as we relate to one another through our computers. Oh, one last thing about what you said about those that are not attacking what you say but you individually. We have to put principles ahead of personalities. Thus speaketh the main lawbreaker against this philosophy. He's still workin on me, Thank God. I hope that he never quits. I love the promises that he will keep us and protect us from even angels.
