I believe, RWAV after 2nd round financing with venture capital firms, now owns less than 51% of HotData (thereby disconnecting their financial reporting) but still around 30-40% (meaning much financial benefit to RWAV if there is a HotData IPO while this window of opportunity is still open).

By the way, the latest hot thing is "spinoffs" where a subsidiary of a tech company is separated from the parent, IPOed and then some % of shares spun off to the parent's shareholders. See COMS and MMWW boards for heated discussion and eager anticipation (Yahoo, SI and RagingBull). T did this with LU a few years ago to shareholders delight. With tech IPOs being near impossible for average investors to get, they are buying and driving up shares of parents in order to get shares of hoped for spun off IPO.

At this time, no HotData IPO has been planed or even commented on by HotData (RWAV doesn't even talk about HotData). But if the IPO does happen, obviously there is a possibility that some or all of HotData's shares could be spun off to RWAV shareholders.
