From the LCI SMart Pen release I see that some of the physicians using CBQcare.net will use the SMARTpen for activities such as authenticating their identity on prescriptions and continuing education course work where Prioritycash.com, a portal that provides credit card approval and electronic funds transfer (EFT) services, will use the SMARTpen to secure credit card transactions and EFTs.

CBQI will be providing the SMARTpens to some of its customers for use in their businesses so I would expect to see CBQI using this as an advantage for a sponsor to get their name on these pens. Would be a great advertisment campaign for an medical industry dealer such as a pharmaceutical.

I would expect that in January a programmer for LCI will be at CBQ to get the infrastructure is fully developed and operational since CBQ expects to implement/deploy the SMARTpen within Q1 of 2000.

This is a big deal and has lots of potential because LCI has numberous overseas contacts. CBQCare gives them the bragging rights to show where they have entered their Smartpen into the medical industry here in the states.

This is just the tip of the iceberg IMO ...

:-)
