Hi Tenchusatsu:

Always enjoyed your posts but on this "new song" thing, you like many others are unable to make the distinction, it seems, between an architecture like the "spry Athy" with a tremendous amount of headroom (and only in its infant stage!) and its competitor which is showing many bruises already from bumping its head against its ceiling...

This incredible role reversal (in only 6 months) just did not exist 12 months ago. AMD's architecture at that time did not exhibit the potential for headroom and ease of moving up the MHz gradient that exists with the Athlon...

While the "spry Athy" (the "new song")has moved up the MHz gradient from 500 to 750 seamlessly, Intel has been long on promises and short on delivery. Surely "this same old song" must be wearing thin on some of you Intel zealots on this thread!!!
