You are putting words in my mouth.
I have specifically said that I do not advocate telling children that it is okay to go out and have all the sex you want, or even have sex at all. I never said anything about passingout slips for abortion clinics. I never even mentioned abortion at all.
I am promoting knowledge and facts over ignorance and fear.
That is it. You continually equate knowledge of the ramifications and responsibility of sex equates to telling kids that it is okay to have sex in any wanton fashion. That is where you are wrong. In fact, it has proven to have the opposite effect. As you said, kids aren't dumb, the more they know, the better the decisions they make.
To just insist that they go through some of the more difficult periods or their life with less information instead of more, is not in their best interest.
Now the next part has nothing to do with kids, this is just my opinion as an adult to an adult....

I don't know if this is being used out of context, or I am just understanding it out of context, but that is completely foreign to me.
Is that supposed to be relevant only to kids, or is it speaking to asults? We are no suppossed to be chaste unless it is for the sake of having kids? Or is that not the intent of that passage?
