Seriously, the first place to look is in industries where there are enablers brewing underfoot.

Good point Mike. I suggest that such 'enabler' opportunities exist within the ASP space, specifically Application Infrastructure Providers (AIPs) like EXDS, but perhaps also DIGX and NAVI...or even QWST for that matter. I have read excellent posts suggesting EXDS is a gorilla in this space thanks to their large # of well-run data centers. I happen to concur with the data center/semi fab analogy, BTW. Any comments specific to the AIP space or anywhere within the ASP space MUCH appreciated.

BTW, although the opportunity has been there for a long time, what about buying COMS now to get PDA gorilla-apparent PALM later. And for that matter, buying AMR to get Sabre Group TSG and its evolving Travelocity/Preview Travel "e-gorilla"...?
