Paul,

LSI Logic Teams With VERITAS Software to Deliver Industry Leading Ultra160 Raid Performance

Symbios(R) Nextreme(TM) RAID is an Easy-to-Install, Mirrored, Bootable RAID
Solution That Reduces Total Cost of Ownership and Increases I/O Performance

Symbios continues to be one of the best purchases by a company in years. Storage sales to the enterprise, and because of the Internet are exploding. I found out from the EMC thread (good stock to own) that Seagate, Quantum (knew that one) and Western Digital are all trying to get into the storage systems market. Not to worry as it takes time to get into this one (lots of development and IP), and those companies just help validate how super the storage market is.

When I look at NTAP, I almost wish LSI would spin off Symbios to us shareholders.

This inventory thing is, IMO, a lot of BS. Typical, take one company, Solectron's, management of their inventory, and extrapolate it into a big story, as if all OEMs were doing this. Ba fangool (sp?).
