Heinz, it seems conclusive to me that M3 Q/Q growth is correlated to
speculation in NDX. I extrapolated the M3 numbers linearly to obtain
values for the first two weeks of December. Based on this assumption
(linear extrapolation) M3 growth has already peaked in the last week
of November. Perhaps that explains the slowdown in the NDX in
December.
