Mark,

True, my style does lead to me "putting words in your mouth" but what I mean is.. What education do you seek? Specifically give me FIVE DIRECT MANDATES you would have your kids taught in school about sex.

That gives you leaway, does it not? Your words.

YOU on the other hand, seem to say that Christianity promotes fear and ignorance by the teaching of morality(abstinstance) over the teaching of the "how to best avoid WHEN you do it method." That is what I do not understand your motive.

To just insist that they go through some of the more difficult periods or their life with less information instead of more, is not in their best interest.

Was that not part of my point about starting our education with you and not just your kids? My points about respect, cold they not hit any home with you?

Now the next part has nothing to do with kids, this is just my opinion as an adult to an adult....<<Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.>>

And it was not just meant to.. It was also meant to start YOUR education, so you can pass it to your children. As a whole, the New Testament uses porneia, most often translated fornication, in at least four ways:
1. Voluntary sexual intercourse of an unmarried person with someone of the opposite sex (1 Cor. 7:2; 1 Thess. 4:3).
2. A synonym for adultery (Matt. 5:32; 19:9).
3. Harlotry and prostitution (Rev. 2:14,20).
4. Various forms of unchastity (John 8:41; Acts 15:20; 1 Cor.
5:1).

I do not expect you to understand this as you do not believe in the second death, but you need to see that as a follower of Christ, any other position can not be held by myself, Mark. For you see , what is STDs in comparison with eternal seperation from the Father? So I would teach abstinence as a way of LIFE, and all the other parts can fall into place. I am not against education. But I do not seek ways to make it safe to be immoral either.

Christ died for the unGodly, at just the right time, we have been freed from having to wallow in the pigpen of lust. Man forgets that so easy, and wants to go back to the pigpen often.

OH and MARK?? Having all these conversations with you and others has also marked my own life. It has changed the way I have thought about a lot of things, in many ways, such as my own ideas of what I do for entertainment, what my hobbies are, who I spend more time with, how I feel about people......so even through other folks, I believe that God has taught me many lessons, that I may not have learned any other way.....BUT.... HE will not lead me down a path of destruction.
