I just got off the phone with Global Payment Systems (NDS) and the customer support person claimed that part of the AT&T data network was down for part of the day last week. Obviously, there was no support for this claim either on the newswires or anywhere else. Furthermore, this company is in Los Angeles which makes me think that this is not related to the St. Louis problem.

This company could be pointing the finger at someone else to avoid its own screw-up.
