<<"Everybody is expecting a [RIG]sell off when the merger is completed. And when everybody is expecting something, it usually doesn't happen. ..."

Hi Brent, Well, obviously not everybody, but I like to think I'm in the vanguard of those expecting a Big Dip. I'm noteing your name as one who disagrees and will be posting vehement demeaning comments later about your sexual preferences and mental inadequacies.

Holding other sector stock while waiting to see how the SLB stckhldr RIG shr thing plays out....Shrs which can then be sold to buy RIG at the time the Dip does/doesn't happen, minimizes the chance of missing a sector move. Why take the risk of a Big Dip when this strategy will still get one into RIG at (relatively) the same price at least, and possibly a much better price?

"...And when everybody is expecting something, it usually doesn't happen. ..."
---In this case, I doubt the market can adjust in advance of the event. There's just too darn many new RIG shrs coming.

Also, if the Big Dip does materialize, I plan a long Slideresque series of posts based on the theme---
"diana told you so, but you wouldn't listen, would you? Nooooooo--- She's just a grrl." Wouldn't you hate to be down $10K and reading that stuff? Better to play it safe. BWDIK????

regards,
diana
