So now AngloAmerican and Impala are neck and neck in the River Valley region of Ontario, a long way from home and at almost the same stage of exploration with their JV partners PFN and MMIN. Are they running out of pgms on their South African properties, looking for footholds outside of risky South Africa, or are the Canadian properties potentially world class? Depletion, country and regulatory risk, or new opportunities?
