Wonderful. I talked to ECharade this morning, and the between-welfare-cheques minimum-wage bozo they had pulled in off the street to answer the phones this morning said they had to dig out the shoebox holding their October 1998 customer records, and then* they could figure out who got what, which would take "..a week or two". I guess they haven't heard of virtual tape and other means of online archival data retention yet.
