I think you are giving Clinton too much credit. I doubt he knows much more than conventional wisdom about the role the Fed plays in fomenting the bubble. Clinton will pressure AG to keep interest rates low, but I don't think coupon passes and non-bank money supply are even on Bill's radar screen. The threat to the dollar will force AG to restrict money growth after the Y2K threat subsides. JMHO, BSG
