Olga: I did install it on a machine with Win 98. Corel Linux does allow you to choose how you wish to install it, whether concurrent with win98 or stand alone. Although it does do the necessary partitioning for you for installation, it does not contain a partitioning tool for later manipulation.

I had already set up a little two system peer to peer network under win 98. I have now set up my secondary system as my Linux machine, and networked over to win98. (I have too many windows apps I that I still need, such as stock software, but in time, that too will change.)

The Samba client distributed with Corel Linux allows me to share files and printers with my win 98 system. I'm using Corel Linux for all browsing functions. I'll be using the other features as time goes on. Looking forward to the release of the WP Suite for Linux.

Good Luck,

Scott
