Wally: Justa is licking his chops over his nice gains in the oilpatch. It is nice to see the Administration's Mr. Richardson trying to talk down oil prices with threats of drawing off the strategic reserves. Funny how his jawboning coincides with Y2k. Do you think they are worried about a spike in oil due to Y2K? You bet they are because they know full well that compliance in the oil producing nations is questionable. And all it takes is the perception of an oil supply problem and there could be a US economic and equity problem. Got Freemarket? Ouch, baby, glad I did not chase this in the aftermarket.
