yes linked accounts total the trades across the board.. however, etrade told me TODAY that they recently switched so that ALL accounts.. "linked or not" are eligible for IPOs.. and that if you have two accounts that are linked.. you can IOI in each of them.. someone else please call etrade and confirm.. makes a difference for those of us thinking of opening a second account... whether to have it linked to the platinum or start a new one jim
