OT - Macromutation, also known as saltation, has not been unequivocally established on a molecular level of analysis. Therein lies the problem as to why it is not accepted. Rapid gradualism has been demonstrated in both E. Coli and in D. Melanogaster. On the other hand, there is no reason why this cannot happen in technoeconomics. In fact it happens all the time. BJ
